The Baby Ball Box One (blue)- Circuit Bent Contraption

This is a rehoused VTech “Little Smart Bright Lights Baby Ball” – that seemed a bit wordy to me, so now it’s just the “Baby Ball Box.” VTech toys are usually very bendable, and this is no exception – there’s a lot more I could have done to this. The spinning LEDs were a part of the toy, so I cut them and replaced them to sync up with the glitches. View its splendor now and please enjoy.

All it is inside is the guts of a VTech plastic baby ball toy. I just rehoused them all in a plastic project box that I spraypainted. It’s no different than a regular circuit bending job, but instead of mounting controls on the actual toy (which was round and awkward), I thought it would be best to give them a new home. The LEDs used to light up these red stars around the perimeter of the ball, so I just cut them and repositioned them into a circle! Nothing to it!
