This was a great film, i just watched the movie and now the commentary….
u should make a movie with godzilla and his friends including gamera and king kong just say they joined him, like mothra and rhodan. vs Zilla and the villians.
it would have been cool if you used godzilla jr (the hensei one) cause he’s a tennager and he is young but your didn have the toy but still a good flick
Now I understand why you called it GKOTM; however your explanation for the little Godzilla maturing was different from how I interpreted it (not that it’s bad, far from it). I simply saw it in the way Fire Rodan gave its lifeforce to Heisei Godzilla in GvsMGII and the way Meltdown Godzilla’s death revived his son (both versions had the monsters giving their energy and dissolving into dust). Still quite interesting hearing your version.
I had always thought that after Godzilla’s farther had died and he turned into a adult he would have to earn his farther title by fighting those would try to claim it as theirs like Zilla and followed later on by Kong and Ghidorah later in the story.
Very informative commentary
I always found the first scene to be beautiful, tragic, and bittersweet
Your sketch of Godzilla in the storyboards look very funny XD

it was crite sad that Oodako and Ebirah where not in it but in the end of the day its still a great movie
Cool commentary. I never knew that Zilla actually warned Kumonga.

Interesting trivia there… I kinda found it confusing how Junior immediately turning into an Adult after his dad died at first…
I didn’t know Zilla and Kumonga were working together…
What would you have used for Oodako?
